Halloween Makeup Inspired by the Runway
Alexander McQueen: For Halloween this look is perfect, part black swan, part tribal witch doctor - there’s no denying that something spooky is going on! Get the look by using black feathers or feathered lashes along the brow bone instead of lash line and compliment with dramatic eye shadow.
Undercover: Straight off the Undercover runway this simple yet striking make-up is one for someone who really wants to make an entrance. Use a softened red lip liner as eyeliner for a strong effect and paled down skin for contrast.
Alice & Olivia: There’s nothing wrong with adding a little glamour to your Halloween look and I love this one from Alice & Olivia’s runway show - think Hitchcock heroine…. after she’s had the life frightened out of her! To get the look, set hair in rollers and then get added body by brushing & teasing them out. Doll lashes and red lips will complete the look.
Marc by Marc Jacobs: An homage to Wednesday Adams as played by Cristina Ricci in the 90s. To get the look pale down skin and brows using a slightly lighter foundation then use a black pencil liner around the eyes. Part hair in the middle to create two perfect braids.
